I was raised in Southern Minnesota, as part of a family that took every opportunity to camp, fish, boat, hunt and hike throughout Minnesota’s state parks and open spaces. My enjoyment of and enthusiasm for the outdoors and every sort of outdoor experience has been lifelong pursuit.
I have been a nature photographer for several years and am passionate about photography. I Wish I had started a long time ago. I like to take landscape images that make viewers feel like they are standing right in the scene. I'm interested in portraying a scene, or subject, as naturally as I can.
With the support of my wife, and the assistance and companionship of my enthusiastic Springer Spaniel, Josie, I plan on continuing to make new trails and discover new images to photograph.
